Halloween Event Part I @ HELLO Village

10月27日（水）放課後，英語村でハロウィンイベントが開催され，様々な（架空の）人物・動物などに扮した生徒・ALTたちが英語村に集合しました！まずパーティの前半は，ALTたちがハロウィンの起源や歴史についての説明のあと，生徒たちはグループに分かれて，ハロウィンに関連した次の４つのブースを1つずつ回りました：（１）単語の書かれたりんごの紙を釣り，ストーリを作る「Apple Fishing」，（２）裏返しになったカードの柄を揃える「Concentration」，（３）折り紙でハロウィンに関連したモンスターを作る「Monster Making」，（４）ハロウィンに関連した英語の歌を聞いて，歌詞をタイピングする「Typing Lyrics」。生徒たちは，ALTたちと英語で会話しながら，１つ１つのブースを楽しんでいました。

　Halloween Event was held at HELLO Village after school on October 27th. Students enjoyed wearing their favorite costumes and disguised as someone or something else. At the beginning, our ALTs gave a talk about the beginning and the history of Halloween. Our audiences were animals such as a shark and a panda as well as a jellyfish and Pikachu.
　After the talk, students were asked to become detectives and solve an imaginary murder case at HELLO Village by participating the following four activities: (1) Apple Fishing (fishing paper apples and make a story based on the words written on the apples), (2) ‘Concentration’ (finding the two cards that have the same picture, from a lot of cards that are turned inside out), (3) Monster Making (creating Halloween monsters by origami), (4) Typing lyrics (listen to and typing the lyrics of Halloween songs). The students talked with ALTs in English and enjoyed each booth very much.
