HELLO Village Week II　第三日目

3日目

3日目の昼休みは、日吉ケ丘高校の第二外国語の先生方にご活躍いただきました。生徒達は中国語、スペイン語、韓国語、フランス語の先生方の待機されているコーナーを訪れ、それぞれの言語で挨拶を交わし、ミニレッスンを受けていました。

放課後はルーマニアの姉妹校とZOOMで交流しました。まず、お互いの学校や地域の紹介があり、質疑応答が行われました。実際に現地を訪問したことがある卒業生も登場し、現地の友人達と再会するという感動的な場面もありました。はにかみながらも互いに興味津々で時を忘れて交流と楽しみました。


Day Three

On the third day, with the help of Hiyoshigaoka’s second language
teachers, students were able to get a taste of what it’s like to
speak Chinese, Spanish, Korean, and French. Their task was to
approach the second language teachers and greet them in each
language, which often resulted in further discussion and small
vocabulary lessons to inspire and deepen their global cultural
knowledge.

After school, we had an online Zoom exchange with students from our sister school, George Cosbuc High School. Both groups
introduced their schools, regions, cultures, and foods. They also
had a short Q&A session to deepen their respective knowledge.
Towards the end, Hiyoshigaoka High School graduates who had
visited them in the past joined for a heartwarming reunion. Despite some initial shyness, everyone enjoyed the session so much that
they lost track of time.
