本校留学生のレポートです。
2人とも日本での生活を楽しんでいるようです。
サマンサさん(オーストラリアよりの2年次生)
I’ve been in Japan for 8 months now and the day I return to
Australia looms closer each day. My time here has passed so
incredibly quickly. I still remember the excited flight to Japan,
arriving in Kyoto and my first day of school here at Hiyoshigaoka
Senior High School. I’ve changed a lot since then. A lot of things
that were different and a little confusing for me at first, I’ve now
become used to and have incorporated it into my everyday life.
There is one thing in particular that I want to take back to Australia
with me. That is,the mind frame of Hiyoshigaoka students at
school. Japanese students always seem enthusiastic to do
everything. Students juggle school, homework, study, club
activities, and still make time to be positive and full of energy
at school and make time to hang out with friends. really respect
this about my friends at Hiyoshigaoka and I want to continue to
enjoy every moment I can while in Japan and in Australia.
アリッサさん(カナダよりの2年次生)
Although I am young, I have had many experiences. I have been
to seven schools and Japan is the fourth country that I have lived
in. The biggest cultural difference is the people’s attitudes
towards people and things. Japanese people seem very eager to
help out others. In school, they are all friendly to each other,
whereas in Canada or the U.S people form and stick to their own
groups. Seeing everyone being friends with each other is
refreshing and it makes me more happy to have been able to come
to Japan as a high school student.
