一般市民向けアクティビティ第1弾「PUB QUIZ 1」楽しく英語を学びました。

5月21日（土）午前中、今年度最初の一般市民向けアクティビティ第1弾となるクリス村長の「PUB QUIZ 1」が開催されました。常連の方から、初めて参加された方まで年齢も様々な皆さんが4，5人のグループに分かれてクイズを楽しみました。まず、チームごとに英語で自己紹介を行い、チーム名を決めました。この時からすでに英語によるコミュニケーションが始まっていました。高等学校での教科を当てるワード探しゲームから始まり、あるハンバーガーショップの売れ筋ランキングを当てるクイズなど楽しいクイズがたくさんありました。ブレークタイムには、ドリンクやスナック菓子を片手にALTや学生ボランティア、参加者同士で英語を中心とした交流が盛んに行われていました。クイズの最後は恒例のミュージックビデオクイズでした。参加者の皆様とても楽しいひと時を過ごすことが出来ました。ありがとうございました。
次回は、世界の夏をテーマに6月30日（土）に開催する予定です。また、近日中に実施要項等を、本校ホームページに掲載いたします。参加を希望される方はご予定ください。


On May 21st, we had the first public event of the new school year at HELLO Village. We held a pub quiz as the first event, and we had participants from a wide range of ages with many friendly familiar faces along with some first-timers. The participants were put into teams of 4 or 5 members and competed in a number of activities such as a word search, guessing the correct order of the top 10 selling items at a famous restaurant chain, along with a break time for snacks and some chatting in English amongst each other, as well as the ALTs and volunteers. The quiz ended with an old favorite, a music video quiz. Thank you to all of those who came out for a really lovely time.

Our next event will be a presentation and activities held on June 30th (Sat.) with the theme “Summer Around the World”. We will be posting more information on our school website at a later date. Hope to see you there!
