HELLO Village WEEK II Day１

　今年２回目のHELLO Village Weekが11月18日から始まりました。初日の今日は、まずお昼休みにオープニングセレモニーが開催されました。セレモニーでは、校長先生とクリス村長による開会の辞の後、ESSメンバーが予定されているイベントについて動画で楽しく紹介してくれました。
　放課後は泉湧寺へのEnglish Walkが予定されていましたが、雨のため予定変更となり、校内「かくれんぼ」が行われました。かくれんぼでは、クリス村長と３人のALTが学校内のどこかに隠れ、生徒たちがどこかに潜んでいる彼らを探すことに。放課後で外はすでに暗く、生徒たちは懐中電灯をもって探し回るも、発見できず四苦八苦していました。
　HELLO Village Weekは５日間開催予定で22日（金）まで続きます。この後も、生徒による活動報告、校内スピーチコンテスト、英語での落語会など、イベントが目白押しです。

　HELLO Village WEEK II got started on Nov. 18th. On the first day, we had the opening ceremony, where the opening addresses of the Principle Furuike and the Mayor Kris were followed by students’ short movie explaining what events we are going to have this week.
　While we were originally planning to do ‘English Walk’ to Sennyu-ji Temple after school, it was cancelled due to rain. Instead, we had ‘Hike-and-Seek’ at school. In this activity, Kris and 3 other ALTs hid themselves somewhere at school and students tried to find them. One problem for students was that it was already dark around 5 pm! They walked around with flashlights, but had difficulty finding them.
　HELLO Village WEEK is a five-day event. Many events, such as student presentations on 19th, Kris Cup Speech Contest on 20th, and English Rakugo on 21th are waiting for us!
