Murasakino’s Mighty ALTs

Let us introduce our ALTs, who inspire our students to be tomorrow’s global citizens.

"Hi, I’m Sienna. I’m from America. I like reading books and playing video games, especially games like Pokemon and Animal Crossing (どうぶつの森). I was very surprised by Japanese food. There are some ingredients in Japanese food I’ve never heard, so I’m interested in trying all of it."

"Hello! My name is Alex and I’m from the United States. This is my first time in Japan and I’m so excited to learn about Japanese culture while I am here! At Murasakino Senior High School, I like to talk in English with students outside of class. I want to get to know my students while also teaching them about myself and where I am from. What surprised me the most about Japan was that Japanese people are taller than I was told they would be."

The following is Justin’s message to junior high school students who would like to study at Murasakino next year.

"Hello future students! I look forward to teaching you English. I really like talking with students outside of classes, so I will visit your clubs or talk to you during lunch or after school. Let’s have fun speaking English. When I first came to Japan, I was so surprised by the beautiful nature. I love hiking, skiing, and going to beaches in Japan."
